Most of the CDT machines are using standard tubings and plugs. I may not always be necessary to buy from factory. There is a bunch of independant providers for the medical industry; Their companies are providing with sterile , CE approved tubes for the injection/perfusion nurse market. We found a Europen mesotherapy provider with a high level of quality and a fair range of prices on single filters and classical tubings so you can buy your own and make you own lines.

CDT is popular in Asia. We found a new factory which builds Carboxytherapy devices. The product appears as a classical clone of US and European machines with the top holding the electronic, a trolley to hide the CO2 tank. The in one CO2 output port and the maximum flow seems to be 150 cc/min.
We have contacted the factory to get the user manual and, if possible, to test the equipment in real conditions to find the best parameters. We have also asked about the price of such a device and the CE or FDA approval if any is available.

We are presently using and trying the CDT Evolution. This equipment is, like the word 'evolution' says, the second generation of CDT machines; the first being the Carbomed. This CO2 equipment comes with new interesting features such as heated gas, pain control system. Our first tests in real conditions are positive. As many CDT machine, it is fast and easy to learn and start procedures with a minimum of training. People who got used to CDT on other medical devices should adapt quickly. As many CDT machine of new generation, the gas is filtered immediately after the pressure regulator to protect the machine and avoid contamination. The second filter is placed on the tubing before the 30 G mesotherapy needle.
All operations are controled using a footswitch. The machine comes with a manual which lists the main treatment parameters, therefore we can work with the machine right out of the box. The brain of this medical device is located at the top of the plexiglass trolley (unfortunately, it is impossible to remove the trolley...). The system lets you define all the parameters with ease: you can control the flow using the digital keypad, the time to deliver, the protocol to use. The PROGRAM mode may seem a bit mysterious at first side. It is related to the pain control option of this machine. Our first tests show the machine reacts to over-pressure of the gas in the skin, changing or slowing flow to reduce pain. We found interesting to publish a compilation of the protocols we usually use with the machine.
