Carboxytherapy procedure is a medical non-invasive procedure to increase lipolysis normal capabilities of the body. The pressure of the gas seems to have a mechanical effect with fat cells destruction. Liposuction is a surgical procedure which involves anesthesia and surgical environment. Liposuction, most of the time, give more dramatic effects (fat is removed). Carboxytherapy is lighter, also painless. These are different techniques with different results.
Sometimes, carboxytherapy is a complementary procedure to improve liposuction results, espacially when small amount of localized adipocities have not been removed by liposuction.
