mesotherapy 30G needles are used to perfoem carboxytherapy proceduresCarboxytherapy procedures are very similar to mesotherapy ones. Consequently, injection tecniques are very close with minor adaptations for the. gas to be. injected. in a safe manner.

Neddles to inject CO2 gas are extremely thin. The injection is almost painless because the diameter is as. small à 0.3 mm. In carboxytherapy, the length of each needle is close to 13 mm which is a good. length for the doctor to either target superficial layers of the skin (dermis) either sub-cutaneous deeper layers.. . The physician may also bend the needle's axis when treating plane surfaces such as the decolleté.. . .

Thin needles = almost no pain

Needles references are 30G mesotherapy needles. The diameter is 0.3 mm which makes them the thinest needles available. The are 32G needles which are thiner but experience says they may not be compatible with all kind of machines although they procude less pain because of theirsize of course.

CO2 therapy needles are generaly 1.5 to 2 cm long: it is important, for the physician to insert the needle down to different layers of the skin (into the dermis or into sub-cutaneous layer). This needle's length is therefore important to remain fast and efficient during the entire procedure.

Needle with a filter for safety reasons

Mesotherapy uses disposable syringes, disposable needles and sterile injection solutions. The risk of infection is, therefore, limited. In carboxytherapy, the gas has to go through a machine which might increase the riskof contamination because it is impossible to clean the internal mechanism of the insuflator. To prevent the gas from being altered with bacteriaz or viruses, each needle comes with a 0.22 micron sterile filter . The needle is attached on on ot its ends.

Different angles = different targeted skin layers for different procedures

Carboxytherapycan treat different aesthetic problems. There are basically 2 nijection types: intra-dermis , sub-cutaneous. To get sure he is in the proper layer, the physician wll probably respect a specific angle between the skin and needle's axis.
