Carboxytherapy can improve peri-oral wrinkles by stimulating collagen synthesis. This area needs an local anesthesia with a cream (EMLA(tm)). Injections are make into the dermis (intradermal layers). There is one session per month in most of the cases. You should expect to have from 4 to 6 sessions for an optimal result There is not down time. The first effects will take around 4 weeks to be seen (time for the collagen synthesis process to start). Carboxytherapy is used for eye rejuvenation and under eye dark circles. Here is a nice youtube video showing the procedure and aspect of the eye. Small quantities of CO2 is injected in the dermis layers.

Nice youtube video showing how we treat submentonial fat. The usual protocol consists in 3 subcutaneous injection for 30 seconds each. This is a very fast procedure. The everage number of session is 6 to 12. Frequency is 1 to 3 sessions per week.
