The team of Carboxyworld is working with engineers to create a simple but efficient carboxytherapy medical device at an affordable cost for the MD who want to discover CDT. The item has the size of a fluorescent ink pen, a weight around 200 g. Its requires no external energy and is fuly manual.
This system has been designed to handle most of the CO2 protocols with 3 selectable gas flows (30 cc/min, 70 cc/min, 120 cc/min). The idea when creating the item was to provide doctors with an ultra portable device which does not require to get big CO2 tanks from medical gas companies. Our invention is protected with a patent.
We are on the final approach with final tests at the factory. We have started making the investigation to get the CE MEDICAL approval and we will seek the FDA approval as soon as possible. We should be able to lower prices to something lower than 1000 EUR/1200 US$ per item which is re-usable, sterilizable. The release date will probably be something around the end of 2009.

We are very proud to have had the opportunity to test the new RioJuvenation machine from Rioblush in exclusivity. Here are our first impressions and some videos of the discovery of this new device. The machine should be released in the end of May 2009 or beginning of June. The factory did not tell us about the exact price and if the will request pre-order to face demands. We do feel MD will have to reserve or put an option on the first machines to arrive on the market.
The machine we receive has a simple design but is portable from one office to another which is probably nice when you want to share. We had no major surprises to connect all the stuff, use our classical regulator and start our first injections.

Carboxytherapy procedures can dramatically improve eye wrinkles and under eye dark circles. This collection of 2 photographies are showing a before/after skin appearance. The procedure was performed in Texas by Dr M. Zaniewski . 3 sessions using intradermal injections were performed.
Carboxytherapy for Eye rejuvenation is aiming to increase collagen synthesis. CO2 injection also increase blood flow of the tissues in the treated area. Better Oxygenation leads to better collagen synthesis, better oxydation of unwanted pigments and, most of the time , more natural color... |

We were contacted by Dr Levy who wanted to present a new CO2therapy invention which has passed the FDA approval. This miniaturized system is clever and fully portable. This machine has been designed for vascular diagnosis and vein treatements. We are waiting for more information and videos from the inventor, and we hope we will be able to test it soon. The web site is still under construction but stay tuned http://www.co2mmander.com.

Carboxyworld is a place where patients can find information about carboxytherapy and co2 injections for skin treatments. It is also a portal for doctors to get the latest scientific articles, equipment news, protocols and video workshops. This web site is willing to create a community of professionals and patients while sharing as much information as possible about CO2 treatments.
Carboxytherapy is not new at all. it was discovered in France in the 30ies in Royat and first used to treat leg vascular diseases. Doctors have found that bath containing CO2 gas were able to increase vascularization of the legs and lower ischemia. They also realized that sub-cutaneous injections of CO2 was able to increase blood flow, lowering ischemia also..
